The Scovel Management Group, Inc. (SMG) was incorporated December 18, 2001. We are locally owned and operated from our office in Colorado Springs. SMG is a proven cost consulting business with over 30 years of practical commercial construction experience.
The name Scovel is an accepted icon in the local construction industry for an earned reputation of integrity, honesty, experience, accuracy, and hard work. SMG is continuing to add to the reputation that the name Scovel has already built in this community. As a client you can rely on the history and resources that SMG brings to you and your project.
Don Scovel, president of SMG, has 4 years experience operating his own consulting business and over 14 years as the chief estimator and project manager for a local general contractor. During that time Don produced in excess of two billion dollars of estimating services. These services included competitive bid projects, negotiated contracts, budget analysis, and cost consulting for numerous clients.
Don will focus on providing the Pre-Construction Management and Estimating Services for each client with added support from our office. SMG understands that clients require a high standard of services; we are committed as a company to provide that level of service to you as a client.
Shane Scovel, vice-president of SMG, will be heading up the marketing, office support, and assisting in the estimating efforts for SMG. Shane also has experience in the construction industry as well as management and marketing experience. His high level of work ethics, integrity, and a refreshing honest approach to providing services for a client will turn into added value for each project.
Some of our construction experiences include work with numerous churches, evangelical organization offices, schools, private office buildings, public facilities, health facilities, prison facilities, industrial facilities and numerous renovated facilities.
